we went for her consoltation with her uroligist last friday, he said she is in stage 4, the cancer is back, its on the diaphram, asophagus, and outside of the stomach, and now has showed up on her other breast, she is getting a pet scan next week, he said it is metastasising all in her body, but he didnt want to give her chemo again, unfortunatly it isnt harmonal, or protien, its not her2, its the one that doesnt react to chemo, please tell me what this means? he said he wont give her a time frame, just go home and take one day at a time, he has seen a few people live a few years with this, but she has been fighting this for 5 years now, what should i do? my youngest is 3, i love my mom, what should i look for to give me a heads up that i should stay very close with her, she lives in california and we are taking her home to alabama in july. i feel it will be her last time.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
She is having metastasis i.e spread of cancer.
There might be spread of cancer to her lung and this would be dangerous.
The clinician will start chemotherapy and you have to support your mother as her life expectancy is fast shrinking!
Take care
