MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
What other symptoms are present? I understand your concern regarding this and while tongue or oral cancer may be painless and asymptomatic in the earlier stages,   your dentist or doctor may help with the diagnosis.  It may appear as a white or red patch of tissue in the mouth, or a small indurated ulcer which looks like a common canker sore.If it persists and it does not heal within 14 days, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
