Hello fellow pvcer, I understand your concern and have the same issue as you , I have documented pacs/pvcs but can go days even months without then and vise versa, I also have had a echo and my heart is structurally normal(free of deformation and disease) but I also get this really fast beats not typical of the pvcs really fast and hard and it does catch my attention, could be bigemy(2 in row) or trigemy(3 in row) and my EP assures me that with a structurally normal heart I shouldnt worry now if new "symptoms" occur like, , pain, shortness of breath or dizzy then you should contact your dr also if the rythm is sustained in that it doesnt go back to normal call him or if it is reoccuring often (a few times a minute for over a hour) but if it is occasional (happens to me once every 4 months or so) I know this sucks but it is our life and it will throw curve balls at us contanlty, I remember when i was getting thousands thought i wouldnt make it through here i am 7 years later still breathing. It does get easier with time, we fear the unkown and once you begine to recognize how you pvcs act under different situations you will be able ignore them more and more. sorry for the long post:)
Hello
How are you. It's hard to give you my remote impression of beat versus a thud and the significance of this. I would say that even though you have had previous halter monitor surveillance, this change in characteristic of your rhythm warrants a call and visit to your heart doctor. It sounds like you had no shortness of breath, dizziness or chest pain. At the very least, you need some reassurrance that this was just a transient variation on the norm. thanks and good luck
