Cat KEEPS Vomiting

MY cat is 12 years old in his younger years he lived with a dog and other cats. But for many years it has been just us. Recently my roommate brought his cat from home both cats stay in our rooms during the day but have the run of the house while we are home. The second day his cat came into my bedroom and our cats hissed at eachother and then my cat vomited 2 minutes after she entered the room ever since then couple of weeks now my cat has been vomiting about 1 time a day almost everyday but he doesnt always see his cat when he does. The other day i went in my roommates room to see and talk to his cat when i came out and went into my room my cat immediately started to vomit and this is not hairball vomit. I know cats can vomit alot if they have hairballs in order to get it out. But i have this feeling like my cat is upset there is another cat in the house since his first time getting sick was when he saw the cat. My question is do cats sometimes react like this or could he have hairballs he needs to get up or maybe he is sick. He is eating well and seems fine otherwise. Thanks for reading!!

Oh yes. Kitty PTS (Post traumatic Stress Syndrome). Okay, it's really more Kitty Very Stressed Out Over Other Invading Cats Syndrome. So that would be KVSOOICS, which doesn't sound as good as PTS. :)

Kitty is probably suffering from IBS from stress. (Irritable Bowl). Regardless, try giving him some plain cooked white rice or a Pet Patch (ask at the pet store, hopefully kitty will love it!)

Check out this link below; otherwise, you may want to get him checked if it keeps up. There are a number of elderly cat digestive problems that develop as they get older. Most are easily treatable, but finding out the specific problem makes it easier...and neater (less mess to clean up!) :)
