Distemper Shot - Side Effects In 3 y/oFemale Cat

Hi,
I have a  3y/o Female cat (Majora), I have always kept her up to date with her shots. I got her when I was living in Florida and there she was an in-door cat. Now that we moved up to Connecticut (when she was about 1 y/o) she goes out-doors. She has always been a little "feisty", but once we moved up to CT and she started going out-doors she got REAL feisty; she didn't let anyone pet her for to long or she'd bite/scratch you, she never liked to be around many people, and she just always had that "pissed off" look on her face. But when she got her distemper shot (about 3 weeks ago)  this time her whole behavior has completely changed; now all she does is sleep, she doesn't care if you pet her, she's not feisty AT all anymore, and she always has a scared look on her face now.
Has anyone seen that much of a change in a female cat all of a sudden from their distemper shot?? It's starting to get me worried a little bit. I've seen her drinking, but I haven't seen her eating like her "old self" lately. Because I've also noticed she's lost a little bit a weight.
Any suggestions/answers would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure this behavior change was necessarily due to the distemper shot. I know it was around the same time, but didn't you say she goes outside too? I would be more inclined to think she had some kind of run in with another animal or human that really scared her. Just a thought.

I'm not familiar with that side effect in distemper shots, but it sounds possible. Have you asked the vet about it or done a search on it?
Or does anyone else recognize this type of thing?
