Thanks. With my loss, that's how I got into kitty rescue work & adopted my Mommy Baby. She's a love. I'm out of the rescue business for now.
Mommy Baby has her own dog & is happy I don't have 11 kittens running around. Maxy
Oh, Maxy, I am so sorry. Clever name. Hugs
That’s so sad! Very adorable kitten with very adorable name as well!
You are both right as usual. I lost a fur baby & on way home from vet she had her IV in & I was holding the bag of solution. ( they were closing & said just to leave her, but no one was going to be there) so I said no way.
She was purring, but we knew it was the distress purr. Poor child(kitten) died during the night. ( a workers dog broke her back)
Her name was Come Here Batman! Very adorable kitty. Maxy
I agree with you, that’s their way of expressing their feelings and it is lovely, but purring is not always a sign of satisfaction, it can sometimes indicate that they are in pain or distress.
yes sometimes purring can be a sign of satisfaction....but remember cats also purr in times of stress and pain too, so well soothing to our ears its not necessarily a positive indicator, but in any case we do love to hear that awesome sound vibrating from their little bodies....
merry kits-mass...love it:) same to you!!
