my cat is hurt

What if I found a cat on the street, and its ankle is hurt what should I do?is it going to be needed surgery or what?

My cat came home today and i couldtell there was something wrong with her, but she tends to play ruff with other kitty's so I figured she had been in a kitty fight and left her to sleep. I took a closer look at her later when i had a min to pet her and i was horified by what i saw, her paw had some singed fur on it as well as her ear that at first looked dirty, i looked at her in the face and her face is swollen bad and her nose has a crack like a nose would have if it was broken. She ate just fine but is really sleepy, she responds to my voice and welcomes my affection but im so worried, i dont have a bunch of a money are there warning signs i can watch out for or something.  I have no clue what happened to her we think some kids got a hold of her orsomething, she obviously was teribly scared cause she had gone to the bathroom on her self and she smells like dryer fluffs or cheap perfume.

It depends on if it's a break or not. What type of ijury does it look like? Swollen? Discolored?
