Something to worry about?

Hi i have a 4 year old son who hit the 'terrible twos' at about 18 months and still acts the same if not worse. He shows the following symptoms on a regular basis (most days) -

Cries over the smallest things i.e plate wrong colour, t.v programme he doesn't like
gets very aggressive for no reason - hits other children
can't play with more than 1 or 2 friends at one time, doesn't like other kids joining in
gets very hyper at times
concentration span very low unless it's a certain toy
doesn't stop mood until taken away from situation and has alone time in room to calm down then acts like nothing has happened
reasoning and understanding lacking (doesn't see what he has done as wrong)
problems usually occur through the week after nursery
not achieving well at nursery

Is this all normal for his age or is there something underlying?  He suffers milk intolerance and was wandering if other food intolerances could be causing the mood swings?  Or is it something more serious?

I have two boys (5 & 6 years old now).  The one went through terrible 2's starting at 15 months and ending at 3 years!!!! He is the happiest now and we have no problems. Except his eating habits :-(

You can look at his diet to make sure that he is getting all the vitamins he needs in the food he is eating.  Lots of children are not getting enough vitamin B, which is a very important vitamin for the nervous system.  Make sure he is getting enough calcium, calcium is very calming.  When children are not getting all the vitamins that they need, they tend to get frustrated easily and cry easily over little things.  A full belly, full of good nutritious food really helps with behavior and happiness.  Take a good look at his diet to make sure that is not the cause.
