2 year old being sick at night

My two year old daughter on most nights has little throwing up fits when shes in bed. Like last night she came to me saying her mouth hurts then started throwing up only a little bit then shes fine for a few hours but it starts again. Ive been thinking its not what she eats. Her bellys fully from dinner but only throws up a little amount and there seems to be no food that makes it happen? A few months ago she did have garida and was in hospital for 2 weeks vomiting and not eating but i dont believe this is the same thing. She feels fine and goes to sleep straight away.
Any ideas what it could be?

I am not certain about that , I always think we ere on the safe side and ask the Doc about those symptoms, but if she checks out okay ..yes she could be throwing up because it keeps you with her, by the way you didnt answer if she is with you during the day or at day care ?

Could be she just wants to be around her Mom for extra cuddling time , does she go to day care ,is she away from you, it could be as simple as she is not ready to sleep, how long does she nap during the day, that may also be a factor. Children do say that they have pain because they know that it gets them attention, in this case I would say it is warrented, and maybe when she does this, some story telling,  quiet story song moments are called for, I always found that quietly singing some old lullabys and nonsense made them nod off . hey you will enjoy it also , its very bonding ...
