Child throwing up

Hello, my daughter is 16 months old (13 corrected). She was born at 25 weeks but is doing excellent. She weights 22lbs. The problem is that when we feed her (she's on solids with some purées and the pouches), she will start coughing to the point of throwing up. Her nose also seems to get runny. She will also at times throw up when we initially put her to bed. She'll lay down be asleep, wake up crying and throw up. It's very stressful and concerning. She does gain weight but I can't believe this is normal. She will cough every time we feed her. She did have reflux and was taking Zantac. Is this a behavioral thing or something internally wrong? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

Chris

This is probably a question for her neonatologists.  Since she was born at virtually the minimum gestation that is survivable,  she must have a lot of doctors who are familiar with her growth.

Have you sought help from the doctors who have seen her through this very difficult beginning?

Best wishes.  It's great that she's doing well -

We now have a regular pediatrician that she's sees As we have translationed from the NICU docs. You'd never know she was born that early by looking at her and they consider her a normal kid. She's walking, talking, and hitting her milestones. I've read where a lot of kids go through these throwing up phases. We've told the doctor and they don't seem concerned yet. I'm wondering if it's normal or a behavioral thing
