Gardasil side effects

My 11 year old daughter received her 3rd Gardasil shot on December 26, 2013.  She has been suffering from anxiety, dizziness, stomach pains, headaches an I just realized that it might be from the vaccine!!  She has had an ECG, EEG and MRI to try to rule out any neurological/heart problems.  She is now in therapy for anxiety attacks because she is afraid to sleep at night for fear she won't wake up!!!  Any thoughts?

And, by the way, the subject of the question was "Gardasil Side Effects." So my reply was very much to the point.

It was the point. In seeking a cure for this girl no possibilities should be overlooked. That is sound medical practice. Perhaps the shots are not related to her present condition. And perhaps they are.

That's not the point. Did you read the full post?  The young lady is in treatment for anxiety.    I think her shots are done?  I felt your statement did not present both sides of the issue and would increase the anxiety level as it was a very one sided statement.   You might want to read the Forbes link for a view of another side.
If the parent had been asking about starting the shots, it ( to me), would have been an entirely different issue and your opinion would have been welcomed.  Although I probably would still disagree somewhat  :)

I sympathize with your attitude, but people have a right to know the downside. In fact, in MedHelp itself you will find reports of reactions to this vaccine. And not all doctors are in favor of Gardasil. Should they be silenced? Should those who have suffered side effects be silenced?

When all is said and done, it is the individual who is responsible for his health. It is we who authorize procedures and treatments. The doctor advises, but we decide. If information is suppressed, how can we make reasonable choices?

Why do you want to panic people that do not need further anxiety?  Gardasil has been administrated to over 10 million people.   49 people out of those 10 million have won some money.  I will take those odds any day.  Better information is found here - http://www.forbes.com/sites/matthewherper/2012/05/03/here-is-how-we-know-gardasil-has-not-killed-100-people/

Gardasil has been responsible for a variety of serious conditions. The courts have already awarded $6 million in compensation for injuries and deaths caused by the vaccine. None of the children in our family receive the vaccine.

These are all pretty common anxiety symptoms.  The question is why has she suddenly become anxious?  Its not the vaccine, but it could be because of things that people have been telling her about the vaccine?  Or it could be because of something different (emotional or stress wise) that happened at about the same time.
To have a 13 year old go through an ECG, EEG and MRI for those symptoms in itself would certainly add to her anxiety.
Read some of the posts on our anxiety forum and you can see how anxiety can do these things to you.  I have been there,  and I do know what anxiety will do to you.  A good therapist should be able to help her immensely.  However, everybody around her has got to buy into what the therapist is saying!  So make sure that you also know what the therapist is doing and wants you to do.  Her home life is as important, perhaps more important, then her time with the therapist.
