4 yr old gets in trouble and scraatches his own face

We have a 4 yr old son that is very obedient anf fun loving around us however, when he is at daycare he tends to get into trouble and fights with the other kids. Him getting into trouble anf fighting with the other kids I guess is pretty normal. The teachers say that he has an anger issue with other kids and wants to punch and fight with the other kids when he doesnt get his way. But the biggest issue is that when he does get into trouble and gets put into timeout he has lately been inflicting pain on to himself (digging his nails into his cheeks right beneath his eyes). We have no clue where he has picked this up from or why he is doing this?

As your son is fine at home the problem is the day care I suggest they dont give the children enough to do and they are bored I doubt if its just your child acting out, ask them what they do with the children in their care are there outside activitys for 4year olds to get rid of energy do the Carers give them time check this out and if they dont have time find a new Daycare who has got time for each child.
