hi there,
i completely understand your pain..i have had a really similar experience for a 2.5 years now.....I am 27 now have spent heaps of money on sports doctors, physios, pilates, massage therapists, chiros and specialists. still no one can give me an answer. so frustrating!!!
I am now booked in to see a Neurologist in 3 weeks as they think it might be a nerve impingement or problem coming from my spine.
I would suggest you get a referrel to a shoulder/back speicalist (orthopedic surgeon) who can check it out and possibly get you to have an MRI scan which will look at all your muscles, tendons, etc and see if there is any damage. i went and they scanned my TRAPS but not my rhomboids where i have been getting the intense pain. I will probably now have to get another MRI on my rhomboids.
Hope this helps.

I recommend seeing if you can find a "Myofascial Release" specialist in your area... Or a type of chiropractor who specializes exclusively in ART (Active Release Technique).
You'll need to do some research online, and perhaps call and speak to someone at a few offices to make sure you've found the right place... but this should provide the help you need.
