Uneven body / shoulder pain

I hope I'm posting this correctly.

I have some sort of shoulder injury. I'm getting an MRI for it soon. I'm not sure if that's relevant or not.

Anyhow, my problem is this: when I weight lift, I absolutely CANNOT recruit my left upper body in the same manner as my right. Even when I do dumbbell work / isolation work, the left never works as much or as hard (?) as my right. My right side is much stronger and larger. I also can't seem to get my arms to follow the same path when bench pressing. For some reason, it seems as though my left arm is farther from my body than my right -- if that makes sense. Also, the right side of my abs ALWAYS takes the brunt of weighted crunches, no matter the weight / positioning I'm using.

I don't have very good posture. I also have rib pain on my left side if I try to do pushups. I think I'm uneven or something.

What type of doctor can help me? What should I do?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I'd start by visiting a sports/rehab-based chiropractor or physical therapist for this issue.

I forgot to add this, but it's very apparent with my lats. I can't seem to recruit the left lat or chest area at all. Barbell rows, etc -- my right side always ends up sore, with my left side doing very little no matter what I do.
