Weird sensations during corrective care...normal?

Hi, I'm a 27 yr old, female and I have been under going corrective chiropractic care (neck traction and full adjustments) 2x a week, for about 8 weeks now.  I know that my body has to go thru the "retracing" process, but as it took about 12 years for my back to get into the shape it's in now, any symptoms went mostly unnoticed, except of course, the pain.  I have multiple sublaxations (sp?) in my spine and my neck looks like this: \  when it should look like this:  (  Make sense?  Ok so anyhow, since starting treatment, I've had WAY more headaches than normal, muscle cramping in neck, possibly vascular tightening sensations, (I know it sounds weird), twitching in thighs, heat sensation on the top of my head (no temp) that lasted for a constant 2 weeks, slight numbness at times in my face, some dizziness...along with some other stuff, the list goes on.  I went to the doc who did blood work and everything was normal except that I had a slightly higher than normal bilirubin level, he retested it and it came back normal the second time.  He says it is just stress, don't worry.  But all this stuff is TOTALLY new to me and I AM worried.  I asked my chiropractor who told me about the retracing, only she didn't go into detail with my symptoms, so I am not sure if they are normal or not?  Are there any chiropractors or patients on here who have experienced anything similar?  I have other stuff going on symptom-wise, that I would like to ask about too, but I just don't want to go on forever in the same post.  If anyone can help inform, that'd be great!!  Thanx so much!!

I am going thru same thing.  Neck just felt tight before corrective care, which is 3 times week.  Now I have tingling in neck and head and can't even do dishes for more than 3 minutes!  Chiropractor says adjustments will help get the curve back but I am feeling worse than ever and it has been 1 month.  Not sure if this is helping or hurting.

Chiropractic care can be incredibly beneficial. I will say, however, that an adjustment is only as good as its timing. If your body actually needs 2 adjustments per week, eight weeks in a row, with traction, then that's what it needs. But I'm curious what your doctor is using to objectively determine when an adjustment is necessary and when it is not.

If your instincts are telling you something's not right, I'd listen to that voice.

Warm wishes,
