sharp pains in spine & behind rib cage

The past 4 days Ive been sick with the flu, had very sharp pains in my stomach and back.. well now i have sharp spasms like pains in my spine and behind my rib cage. it comes and goes all day long, but the pain is through out my spine not my back muscles, it'll go from my spine to my rib cage or visa versa.... no pills help either ? ne suggestions would help b/c i cant go to the doc for another month untill my new health care kicks in : /

I recommend informing your parents about this, and having them take you to your pediatrician, or a local chiropractor.

Im 13 and have had sharp pains in my chest upper spine and upper back. it's like a strike of pain and then it goes away. but then comes back. is it anything i should be conserned about?

Well, it's definitely not normal what you're feeling. I wouldn't put this off just because of lack of health insurance.
