copd vs loosing weight & excercises

I have COPD for many years... I been trying to loose weight and want to do some exercises. Only my breathing issues makes it difficult, ID there a workout I can dothat could help my conditions and loose weight .
I am 46yrs female, weight 217.2 lbs, I know by loosing some weight will improve my breathing and better manage my COPD condition.

I know what you mean..im doing the aerobic stepper 5 days week,20 min aday,i stop at times then restart,..im at 243pounds 5' 11" age 51..i was at 223 then had my total knee replacement done last fall..i was doing great avg 23 miles a week walking. Now got worse..i do smoke still. Only on 5lpm o2 at bedtime im sleep apnea..me I like to lose even 5 pounds that helps us take in more breathing times,,but sweety its hard we all no..

yes,  francinamartinez it is a good decision to loose weight. As you said your weight is 217.2 lbs, and you are suffering from COPD then losing weight will really helpful. You can start with easy work out, don't heavily exercise in starting days. Eating less and light food will be nice for you and helps you to lose weight.

The surest way to lose weight is to eat less. The more weight you lose, the more you can exercise because of the reduced strain on your  lungs.
