I currently take advair and Spiriva medication.. is this the one and only mediacation,since there are no genericand here in the united states unlike the rest of the world which has a free market, we are controlled by the drug industry.

Hi I too have copd and was wondering about the natural anti-inflammatories that you can take, what are they? Thanks for your help. Hope you are feeling pretty good today.

You might want to read up on the side effects of Advair. There has been a movement away from the use of inhaled steroids. I stopped using Advair almost four years ago.after developing serious side effects. My condition actually improved when I got off it. You might be interested to know that inhaled steroids do not reduce mortality. I tried Spiriva but found it very drying and had to stop using it. As of now the  only prescribed medicines I use are nebulized Duoneb  or albuterol and nebulized Mucomyst (for congestion). Additionally I take natural anti-inflammatories.
