wrong spelling..i was on advair 500/50 for 8 yrs did me great!! then Medicare stopped paying for it, they gave me this for some odd reason I wont take it..i am copd..I been using rescue inhaler and nebulizer.. both these been on most my life..
are these meds close to the same?? I've got it right here.. thanks

Symbicort contains budesonide and formoterol fumarate dihydrate and Advair contains fluticasone and salmeterol. So while they do not have the same medications, the medication groups are the same. So id Advair was helping you, Symbicort should also help you. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
