EUS guided FNAC & FNAB from Liver SOL

Please Help
The result of my FNAC & FNAB from Liver SOL through endoscopy:

Smears reveal many irregular clusters of loosely cohesive cells. The cells exhibit moderate degree of nuclear enlargement, vesicular chromatin, prominent nucleoli and scant to moderate amount of cytoplasm.

Opinion: Positive for malignant cells; Metastatic carcinoma cells seen favoring a poorly differentiated carcinoma.

What does it mean ?

I strongly recommend you ask your doctor this question. We here are not doctors and cannot diagnose you. We are a community of patients living with liver cirrhosis sharing our experiences.

Only your doctors will be able to tell you if it is primary or not. However, primary liver cancer is very usual in patiences without advanced liver disease with cirrhosis. Do you other cancers in your past or currently? If so, then a liver metastasic lesion is more likely.

How your doctors have some good answers for you. Take care.
