Fibrospect ii results interpretation

Hello,
I received my fibrospect ii test results. Score is F0-F2,compared to Metavir none to mild, liver fibrosis. Abouy 13 years ago, liver biopsy showed grade 1 portal inflammation, with grade 1(minimal)portal fibrosis. In 13 years, it didn't do a lot of damage,I guess? Also we did a follow up mri,for a liver lesion found about 6 months ago. The lesion is not hcc, and in the last mri seems to have got smaller. Liver enzymes in normal range. General blood test, all good. I'm 44, have chronic hbv probably since birth, and on treatment with viread 300mg,daily tablet. F0-F2, is not cirrhosis. But in all this years, the virus didn't do a lot of damage, which is good, but why?. It varies from an individual to another? I know people that developed cirrhosis within 10-15. Anybody can explain? Thanks.

You answered your own question

It varies from an individual to another.

Just as some can be heavy drinkers for example and have little to no liver damage others will develop serious liver damage by doing the same exact thing.

I had hep c for 37 years. While only about 20% of those with hep c will progress to cirrhosis after 20 year of infection I was near to cirrhosis after 20 years based on liver biopsy fibrosis 3 at that time after 30 years I was diagnosed with cirrhosis.

Just enjoy your good fortune and possibly good genetics for being able to fighting liver damage
