The problem with being on medication, particularly blood thinners, is that a lot of what's used to tackle plaque, which causes strokes as well as heart attacks, also thins blood. Magnesium is one of the body's relaxants, including relaxing the heart muscle, so it's not likely to provide energy. The beta blocker can be a source of tiredness, but so can the trauma she's experienced. Because of how complicated this situation is, I don't think those of us on this site are going to be of much help. A naturopath would be much better, probably in conjunction with a holistic nutritionist -- diet is very important to preventing cholesterol from turning into plaque and narrowing the blood vessels. Antioxidants are essential. But you'll need to coordinate with a willing doc, since the warfarin and beta blockers present the contraindication problems. Just as an example, one of the first things people tell one to do with clogged blood vessels is increase the good fats, but fish oil, for example, is also a blood thinner, so there again, the warfarin problem. So you'll need someone who can work around this and coordinate between the medication she probably needs for now due to the serious present situation and the treatment to prevent further problems and get her back to strength.
