These exercises and tips will help with the joint problems.
Sit on the floor, with the legs straight.
Bend and release the toes of the feet 10 times.
Bend the feet forward and backwards 10 times.
Rotate both feet clockwise and anti-clockwise 10 times.
Move both feet left and right 10 times(like car wipers).
Press your knees down 5 times, so the kneecap moves.
Lift each knee up(bend the leg), and then force it down to hit the floor.
Next do it with both knees moving up, and then down to hit the floor.
Do all these twice a day.
Take one teaspoon turmeric powder on hot water, twice a day.
Apply hot and cold towel to the joints.
Do kapalbhati pranayam for 30 minutes, twice a day.

do you do yoga at all? i don't know about the feet and knees but the Warrior Pose REALLY helps my hips.
