Need help with many symptoms

Hi I am new here - now sure where to go any more - echo's say one thing - tests say another- here are my symptoms can anyone point in the right direction?  This following episode has happened 5 times now.

Just standing getting a glass of water - all of a sudden my heart feels like it is racing 300 beats per min.  my legs want to give out I become extremely dizzy to the point of passing out.  No fever, sugar is 85, I get sweaty and hot and have to remove outer clothing. All time I feel very sick.  I get flushed in the face.   It passes in about 20 mins..

He was taken in on Thursday afternoon but it's not looking good :(  I have a thread about it asking for information.  I was searching the internet for clues and answers and found this site.  Learned a few things already.  It's also nice to speak to someone with heart problems who's also the same age.  My hubby is 56 by the way.  The biggest problem for me at the moment is lack of information.  Because his family are always there, by the time they leave he's too exhausted to speak to me in any detail.  His 90 year old father came last night and I could have wrung his neck.  Just kept going on about my husband's job (which is what's landed him with this), how he should get a job in a supermarket blah, blah.  Hubby had been trying to get another job for years because he knew the one he had was too much for him - long hours, no holidays (classed as self-employed), often working 7 days a week for little wages - mostly commission.  Eventually hubby told me to take his father home.  I think if any of them are in this afternoon, I'll tell them to go away.  I need time to be with my husband, I really need to speak to the doctor - but everytime I go up there, for whatever reason, I miss the doctor.  It's getting frustrating and I'm now getting myself worked up - which isn't good for anyone!

I really hope you haven't got CHF but if you have, you need to get it seen to fast, change our doctor if need be.  Which country are you in?

I wish it was hot flashes - had hysteromy when I was 28.  Sorry to hear about your husband.  How long has he been in the hospital?

Maybe we will both learn a lot from this board.   I have been told it could be CHF so I will be checking into it.

Me too.  I'm a newbie - except it's not me - it's my husband who's seriously ill in hospital with heart problems (we're in the UK) hence doing research, I found this website.

I'm not clued up on heart terminology but I'm wondering if your symptoms - the feeling of suddenly being very hot are the effects of the menopause - i.e. hot flushes (or put another way...power surges LOL).  I went through the menopause fairly young, from about age 45 and did get something similar.  I have never had swollen legs or feet (I'm a natural skinny as well) but my husband does.  Reading through the forum that can point to CHF so you really need to see a doctor and get checked out again properly and the appropriate medication to control this.

By the way, I'm the same age as you - 54 :)

I am sorry I forgot a few other things too.

I am a female, age 54.  With the above I also have severe stomach and leg swelling, I take water pills (Torsemide) to help shed 8 Lbs of fluid daily.  The only thing I have been told about my heart is LVDD with an LVEF of 51%.  Feel free to ask more ?'s I'm new to this stuff.

Hi Teddybear556.  You don't say if you're male or female or what age you are.
