gallstone in duct after operation

In 2010 my colon perforated they took out about 6 inches of large bowel , 8 inches of small bowel and my appendix. In 2011 I had a triple hernia repair in the same area with a 6x8 inch pig mesh. In 2012 they removed my gall bladder ny incision and  I got a major infection w/ undermining and had to wear a wound vac. Currrently I am trying to get my Chrohn's under control and loose weight for a large right quadrant hernia repair that has a 22 cm neck. I also have 2 more feet of small bowel that is bad. Now they found a 3.5 x 2.5 cm stone in my duct. How dangerous is a stone that large with all of my other problems?

Thanks for letting me know, When I meet with my surgeon for a large right quadrant hernia repair and more than likely the removal of 2 more feet of bad small bowel with a temporary colostamy bag, I'm going to insist that the stone be removed since it almost doubled in size from over the past 8 months. Thanks agin for letting me know the symptoms.

If you are talking about stone in the common bile duct with time this will obstruct the duct cause severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and jaundice and can compromise liver and pancreatic function.
