Not really...I have used Breaking the Vicious Cycle as a guide for about 12 years now...but really not on a really restrictive...I take Food Based Probiotic vitamins, Omega-3 and other supplements...I run competion long distance with no meds.
I believe it is really about finding a balance between Intestinal bacteria and your immune system. The latest research from Harvard shows that specific Immune cell causes flares...therefore this is a very important piece of the puzzle.
Forgot to mention I'm on Remicade as well...
I have CD for 7 years now and 3 surgeries. Recently, I found out that the food I ate dictates the rest of my day. I did try Sherry Brescia - Great Taste No Pain Diet before, its more of a acid-alkaline diet, not specific for CDs but helpful non the less... just leave out the ingredients that you suspect will harm your CD. I do take a liquid meal as well as probiotics which I found to be helpful at times to give the gut a rest. And knowing God gave me a purpose in life. :)
Watch your food, make sure that there are no skins, seeds, or other hard-to-digest fiber foods. And this is especially true if you have any strictures or past obstructions
