Whats wrong with me??!?!

Hello everyone!
I have some previous posts that talk about all my symptoms...possibly Crohn's or some form of UC.  I have had ongoing symptoms since before I had my gallbladder removed when I was 19.  They took my gallbladder out thinking that was the problem, but I have all the same symptoms if not worse now, and I am now 25 yrs old. Although I eat a very low fat diet, I have frequent loose stools with mucous, sometimes bloody, 3-10 times a day for the last 10 years or more.  My previous GI doctor diagnosed me with IBS and sent me on my way.  I have an appointment set up for the 31st of July for a second opinion.  My questions is:  I have recently been very faint, almost to the point of passing out.  I'll get tunnel vision, ringing in my ears, everything goes black....but then I sit down and rest for a bit and I'm okay again.  Is this at all related to my stomach issues??  Is this something I should mention to my new GI next week?  I have also been having nerve pains...  when I stand up and take a few steps, I have shooting nerve pains in my sciatic nerve, that goes all the way down to my feet. I have also been having nerve pains on my forearm where my elbow bends.  Is that related?  Or do I have something else going on besides my stomach issues???  I am only 25 years old..... I shouldn't be having these issues!!  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!  Help!

Chrons and UC is the immue system being hyper aggressive.  So he is probably looking to rule those out.  Don't know about the thyroid, but at least this dr is looking for a cause.
Maybe that has something to do with the immue system also.

Post after you get your results and let me know whats up.  I wish you the best DX that you can receive.

So I had my Doctors appointment last Friday...  My new Dr. totally came out of left field on me.  I was expecting Crohns, or UC, but he said its something to do with my Thyroid and Immune system being hyper aggressive.  He said I should have never of had my gallbladder removed and that I was misdiagnosed the first time.  I go in Monday for a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy....   but if its related to my immune system and thyroid, why do I need to get scoped??  He did not do any blood tests.  I am really confused now!!

Yes, it is time to get a second opinion.  Anytime you have loose stools with mucous and blood 3-10 times a day there is definately something going on.  If you have chrons you need to be on meds to get it in remission.

If you are bleeding you could be anemic so that could be the fainting feeling.  The other sounds like it is something else.

I am really glad you are changing GI dr.  It sounds like the previous dr didn't follow up.
IBS could be chrons or uc also.

Let us know what the new dr says.  You might want to make an appointment with your GP for the other problems.
