2 rare tornados strike Japan

Two massive tornadoes swept through the western region of Japan on Wednesday. No injuries or damages were reported. Tornadoes are relatively rare in Japan and the agency has issued further warnings of strong winds, lightning and tornadoes.

Apparently Japan has had a number of tornadoes recently, a rare occurrence but then again weird weather is everywhere.

I'm so glad no one was hurt.  I don't believe I have ever heard of a tornado in Japan.  More evidence of the whacky weather our world is currently experiencing.  I just read a very interesting article in National Geographic about the weather this last year or two.  I'll share some of it when I have a little more time.  Interesting stuff.
