Sounds like if the doctors say the baby is due January 15, you got pregnant around April 24, give or take 7 days since you didn't get the ultrasound until your 12th week. Even if it had been April 17, that still doesn't stretch back to the time when you and your friend used protection and all. It just doesn't sound like there is a chance it came from the April 4 incident. The docs would have told you that you were at 15 weeks, not 12, if so.
I slept with my friend once on the 4th april and used protection
Then 6 days later I got my period for 3 days
My boyfriend visited the 14th April and stayed with me 2 weeks, we were together regularly and didn´t use protection - this was when I was ovulating according to my app, general ovulation times eg mid cycle
I then didn´t get my next period and realised I was pregnant
Doctors say 15 January the baby is due
At 12 weeks scan, this week, just the past Tuesday they said it was 1cm bigger based on LMP which was 10th april
Hope this is clear! thanks
Hi, earlier you said (about the friend) "after sleeping with him for 3 days." What did that mean?
Also, you say just above, "Boyfriend came to UK 14th april - says ovulated within 15th to 24th I think." What or who says ovulated? If it was just an app, that is not useful, if a doctor said you ovulated in a certain time frame, that would be more useful.
And what estimated due date did they give you on July 12? Not "1 cm bigger," what date did they suggest the baby is due?
Ok thanks so:
Slept with friend once 4th april - used a condom
Last period 10th april
Boyfriend came to UK 14th april - says ovulated within 15th to 24th I think. We were together for 2 weeks - didn´t use protection
Did 12 week ultrasound 12th July - said was 1cm bigger so measured 6.8cm but also said is ok to be within 2 cm
Writing it like this makes it clearer to me I don´t think it is possible to be my friends. I guess I was being paranoid when they said it was 1cm bigger.
Anyway again if anyone is super knowledgeable about this and can provide any advice it would provide peace of mind. It´s not something that is usual for me it´s just my boyfriend and I were a bit unsteady as he was thinking about taking a job in another coutnry, but now has moved back to UK.
Thanks
They don't date the "weeks pregnant" from assumed conception but from assumed first day of last period.
Rather than saying "almost 2 weeks" and "about two weeks before" and such, could you use dates? Like:
Slept with friend -- April 2, 3, 4
Period -- April 7
Slept with boyfriend -- April 21 - 30
Estimated due date from ultrasound -- January 12
or similar? Could you also say how many weeks (GA) you were when you had your first ultrasound?
