My vote is for guy#1. His deposit on the 7th could at a stretch have lasted until ovulation. Your ex made a deposit in theoretical prime time, but I’m inclined to discount him from his previous record.

OK, unfortunately then, there isn't any way to know without a DNA test. A guy puts out millions of sperm in one ejaculation, and sperm can live in your reproductive tract for 4-6 days. Your app says you ovulated on the 12th, and the doctor saying '9 weeks 6 days' on December 10th indicates ovulation around October 16th plus or minus 3 days. At least from the 12th through the 16th you would have had viable sperm in your body from both men (up to the 20th if you continued to sleep with your boyfriend after the 10th). It then becomes just a matter of whose sperm got to the egg. One guy's wouldn't have removed the other guy's or anything.

DNA tests can be done before the baby comes (though it is expensive) done as a blood draw from the mom's arm and cheek swabs from the possible dad(s). And of course DNA tests can be done after the baby comes, costing only about a tenth of the cost of prenatal testing.

The fact that you never got pregnant with your ex in two years is not unusually long. He has shown that he is not sterile; you can't even try to rule him out on that count.

I wish there were a way to tell from the dates, but all they reveal is that when you might have ovulated, there was sperm ready and waiting, from both men.

And, how long have you been using the app that predicts your ovulation? More than a year?

Also, it is important -- after the 7th, did you have sex again with your boyfriend before you had sex on the 12th with your ex? And did you have sex after the 12th? If so, how close in date to the 12th?

The short answer is that it isn't possible to tell given only what you have described. Maybe a little more information would help clarify.

After the 7th, did you have sex again with your boyfriend before you had sex on the 12th with your ex? And did you have sex (with either guy) after the 12th? If so, how close in date to the 12th?

How long do you go from day 1 of one period to day 1 of the next? (If, for example, the next period always comes exactly every 28 days after the last one, and they have done so year-in/year-out like clockwork forever, you could assume you ovulated on the 14th. If on the other hand, they sometimes come on day 26 or 27 or 29 or 30, trying to estimate your ovulation date by when your last period came is less likely to be accurate.)

Some women get a signal that they are ovulating, a twinge in the ovary and maybe a tiny bit of blood, which is called mittelschmerz. Do you happen to get that? If not, another signal for some women that they are ovulating is that they are particularly horny at the time. Did that happen?

Did you find out you were pregnant from a home test or a blood test at the doctor's?

Has your ex had children with anyone else?
