Confused and lost

Ok so I have a beautiful 3 month old baby girl. Had my last period sometime in december of 2011. I was with one guy on December the 8th but I don't know if he ejaculated in me or not. From December 8th on I was with my now boyfriend. Going off of what apps and doctors say I conceived late December early January. But my now boyfriend doesn't ever ejaculate in me, he uses the pull out method. Which yes I've heard you can still get pregnant. My doctor is telling me there is no way ultrasounds can be a month off. But I delivered her by cesarean October the 1st and my EDD was October 8th so according to that I delivered at 39 weeks. Counting 40 weeks from December 8th puts me at a due date of September 20th. Also when I went in for my cesarean on the 1st my water had broken. So my EDD was only 2 and a half weeks off of when I would deliver if I conceived the 8th of December. How likely do I conceive on the 8th of December? I love love love my baby girl and I know he does too! Only thing is, if she's not him I don't know if he will love her forever or want to be in her life. I don't want to get a paternity test done because I'm scared if its not his, everything we have(which is oh so great!!) will be ruined:(( confused what to do??

Well, the short answer is that if your doctor tells you based on your baby's ultrasound measurements that you didn't conceive December 8, you should trust what he says. The gold standard for dating a pregnancy is a doctor who knows you want to confirm a conception date, reading your early ultrasounds.  But if you want, we can count out the dates.

You had sex with someone December 8, and then you were with your now-boyfriend from December 8 on.  Were you also having sex with him throughout December, or did it begin only later in December?

Then (after the sex on the 8th, I assume) you had a period in December.  Was it an irregular kind of bleeding, or just a normal period?  Do you know the first day of that last period?

Your estimated due date of October 8 was based on an ultrasound, correct?  It gives you a conception window of January 12 to January 20.  That lines up with having had a period later in December.

What was the date of your earliest ultrasound, and what number of weeks did they tell you the pregnancy was, at that time?  (Do you still have a copy of it?  The dates should be on it.)

I can't think of any other way to measure things, but if your ultrasound was relatively early, it will be accurate within a few days.  Sex on the 8th of a month and then having a period later in the month is a big clue that you weren't pregnant from the 8th, and a doctor saying you weren't pregnant from the 8th should also clarify things.  And as you know, the pull-out 'method' is not a method of birth control, it's a method by which a guy doesn't have to wear a condom.  It does little to prevent pregnancy, as you have found out.

I can see that you are anxious, but nothing suggests the December 8 guy is the dad.
