Hi, your first story told of your 12th week ultrasound, and now you are mentioning details like an emergency ultrasound (at the ER?) and saying that the ultrasound "at 7 weeks was still saying everything the same." The same as what, did you have an earlier ultrasound than 7 weeks?
yes 7 weeks was my emergency ultrasound at a triage
You said you had an ultrasound at 7 weeks? I looked for it and didn't see you saying that. So, you had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and it gave you the due date of February 23 based on the baby's measurements?
I said had ultrasound at 7 weeks was still saying everything the same
If that came from your 12th-week ultrasound, it will not give you enough exactness to rule out June 7. Was that your earliest ultrasound?
Feb 23rd is estimated Due date
What estimated due date did they give you when you had your ultrasound (that said you were 12 weeks 3 days), was it February 23rd? If so, the estimate would be that you got pregnant on June 2. But unfortunately, getting your dates via a 12th-week ultrasound is not going to give you enough precision to rule out June 7. You did not happen to have an ultrasound in your sixth or seventh week?
If you want to get a DNA test before the baby is born, I don't think you *can* do an invasive test (you are thinking I assume of amniocentesis or chorionic villii sampling?) just to determine who the dad is. If such tests are done, it is because they are called for by medical necessity (and though you might not agree, finding out paternity is not considered medically necessary). If you went to the doctor and asked for one of those tests, the doctor would almost certainly tell you that the risk to the baby is too high for use just to determine paternity.
Regarding doing a prenatal blood test to determine who the dad is, you can trust the accuracy of Ravgen or DDC. I would not go with any lab that has a bad reputation for accuracy, so do your research. The cost is very high for the good labs, that is your call.
