Bad breath/tooth odor

Recently, I have noticed that my teeth really seem to have an odor.  I notice it when I floss and also during the day even after I have recently brushed my teeth. If I rub a finger on my teeth and smell it, it has a strong odor.  I don't know if the odor is bad breath (and no one is telling me the truth) or if i have a weird thing growing on my teeth/gums.  I brush and floss regularly often 2-3 times a day for brushing (including my gums and tongue) because I have become paranoid about the odor.  I have tried Listerine, which seems to only work temporarily.  I'm not sure what it may be or if is just my nose.  PLEASE HELP!!

For about a year now I have been experiencing an odor.I have an awful taste in my mouth. I always have mucus drainage everyday, and all day long.I have seen an ENT doctor, a stomach doctor, dentist and physician. No one can seem to find out what is wrong with me. The only thing they can diagnose me with is that I have a deviated septum and allergies. I have tried everything from nasal irrigations to herbal medications, you name it I've done it.I know that I must have some type of post nasal drip because the smell also comes from my nose. Very unpleasant...I am very insecure and I don't know what to do about it. I almost feel like I have some type of infection because my mucus is yellow and green and sometimes even clear. I hope someone can give me helpful advice because I can't enjoy the life I once had a year ago.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
You should see your dentist for an examination and for a cleaning.  You may have areas in your mouth/gums that you can not get to and need the dentist or hygienist to thoroughly clean.
