Ask your dentist first. Not all dentist give consultation to their patients just to introduce them to their product. Try my dentist, Dr. Silvestre, she's nice and very gentle. I know she will give you a honest advise about your teeth. Visit her website http://gorgeoussmiledental.com/ and give her a call! :)
I also don't know if you can whiten past your natural color.
Crest white strips worked for me a little. I only noticed a slight difference after the first box and didn't bother with a second because I was just trying to get rid of a certain stain. I've read that you have to use more than one box for really good results. Dental whitening leaves your teeth temporarily very sensitive, but works best. If you do use a store bought method don't get the paint on type. The acid in your saliva just dissolves it before it gets a chance to work. Get something that you stick to your teeth and have to take off. Anything you try is gonna only last so long and needs to be repeated to keep the results.
If you go to a dentist he may try to sell you veneers. They are NOT WORTH IT- very expensive, they don't last very long, and there is a chance of an adverse reaction such as burning mouth sydrome.
Hi,
Although it is difficult to change the natural colour, it would be best to see a dentist. He would be the best person to advise you regarding further action.
Hope this helps.
