Dizziness / brain fog / low blood platelets after root canal

Hi,
I had a root canal done in a top molar around 10 years ago.  2 years ago That particular tooth broke and i had the root cqnal redone and a cap aced over it.  This year my cap feel off and i have been left with the root of the tooth in my mouth with is goingmblack - i presume it is decaying.
My question is can the root canal have caused my dizziness? Brain fog? Low blood platelets?
I had a dental x-ray yesterday but there does not seem to be signs of infection there.
My eye, on the same side, also feels swollen and often i am getting sudden, vrry sharp headaches.
What do you think? Couldmtjere be a connection between the brain fog etc? And my tooth?
Thanks, Romald.

An x-ray is a diagnostic tool but all information needs to be gathered and put together including the clinical exam and description from the patient.  Pressure could be related from an infected tooth.

Another symptom i have is that i have pressure on my face/ head - same side as the tooth in question - do you think this could be related?

Also i just had an x-ray of my tooth but i dont think it shows an abcscess - does this mean the tooth is NOT infected? Or could it still contain bacteria?

Thanks, Romald

A sinus infection can feel like a toothache and vice versa.

Thank you for your reply.

But if the tooth is on the top jaw could it affect my sisuses - hence causing these problems?

I'm not sure about the brain fog, dizziness or low platelet count.  You may want to check with your general physician about that.

The pain that radiates out though could be related to a failed root canal though.
