I have bone matter that has always pushed my gums out on the inside and outside of
my bottom teeth. The top gums are just minimally of concern. The gums always get
cut if I eat potatoe chips, ice or other crunchy food. Today I sliced one about 1/4 to 1/2 inch
long and it bled.
My dentists always have a name for this problem, but I can't think of it right now. What can
be done to alleviate this extra bone matter? Several years ago, some rose from the gum
and was like rock salt in texture. It broke off and all was well.
