tooth sinus

About two years ago I began having sinus problems and headaches.
The headaches are not painful, but are often a strange numb sensation or feeling of pressure on my head. Mainly on right side or top.
I also have fluid in my ears and they get blocked and have sensation of pressure.
My sinus sysmtoms are mainly popping or crackling noises in my nose.
There isnt much pain but it makes it very hard to concentrate when tour head feels like it is bursting.

My GP prescribed a nasal spray for sinus problems.

When I went to hospital as I was worried after it went on for a long time the doctor there just put me on anxiety/depression medication.

the sinus spray is the only thing that provides some relief but it does not cure the problem.

Before the problem started a tooth which had a root canal a long time previously , top right 2nd from back, turned black and broke. It was heavily filed after breaking. Then it broke again and I had a crown done.A few days ago the crown fell out. Could this tooth be causing these symptoms and should I just have it removed?

The roots of some upper teeth are very close to the sinuses, so your tooth may be the culprit.  Most root canals are successful, but from time to time a tooth with a root canal becomes re-infected and must be re-treated.  A periapical x-ray can show if there are any abnormalities around the roots of the tooth.

Its possible that the tooth could be causing some discomfort for the sinus area.  I would recommend seeing a dentist and seeing if the tooth needs further treatment or needs to be removed.

I should add the symptoms started after the tooth was heavily filled. Before the crown
