Mouth Pain

Hello, for around 6 months I have had pain in my front upper teeth/gums, I went to my regular dentist a few days after this started. The dentist took x-rays, he said he could not find anything wrong, I have been back since and have had my teeth cleaned, I told him I am still having mouth pain. I went to another dentist with this problem, he did a examination, did not seem to find anything wrong. I am at my wits end with this, my symptoms are, the front upper teeth and gums are sore, palate close to the teeth is sore at times, even my tongue feels sore sometime. I have worn a night guard for several years, the dental hygenist suggested stress is causing this? Thanks in advance for your answer.

The first thing that comes to mind is the possibility that your bite is causing this. Obviously I can not diagnosis it from this forum but I would certainly look into the fact that there may be trauma from your lower front teeth. If you get no satisfaction from the dentist it might be a good idea to see a periodontist.
