Went to see an oral surgeon 3 months ago about a problem that had nothing to do with the root amputation he did on a tooth in my mouth that was part of a fixed bridge. He said I had an infection and he suggested that a root amputation be performed. He removed bone and gum tissue an amputated the root. 3 months later it still aches in the area he worked on. Went back to see him he took new x-rays saw no infection and said he didn't know why it is still aching. I am perplexed as what to do or how long the aching will continue.
