Sounds like a cavity, so see your dentist. For gum problems in general, I highly recommend www.mamagums.com She's a dental hygienist and promotes baking soda and has a formula recipe you can print under free stuff and recommends Hydrofloss for areas the brush and dental floss miss.
Hi,
IMO you should combine both above answers. Go to your dentist and have your teeth evaluated and cleaned. After that, the second answer is great. Don't forget to brush at least twice a day for a minimum of two minutes each time and floss at least once daily.
All those things will remove the plaque that has gotten below the gumline which produces the smell.
Good luck.
My best to you,
Gellia
I have a cure all for that gum smelling issue. Buy a good waterpik, and mix half warm water and half hydrogen peroxide 3%. On the lowest setting, irrigate the area that smells twice a day. It really works! It flushes out the pocket that is trapping the bacteria and causing the bad smell. Good luck! .
You probably have some kind of infection. You should go to your doctor or your dentist.
