The roof of my mouth is killing me!!!!!!!!

Hey guys and girls, the roof of my mouth (only the farthest part forward not in the back) and my front 4 teeth(gums around them) are KILLING me!!! I can feel a swollen line going thru the center of the roof of my mouth and it kills! It hurts so bad i am up 85% if the night. I have been drinking really cold water with ice and holding the ice on it with my toung. I am wondering what could cause this? This is the third day with it and i dont know how i am going to make it thru the night again.... I have been taking about 4 ibuprofen a day but it doesnt seem to do anything.... I have been eating a lot of pasta so im thinking the acid from the tomatoes in the sauce is what has caused it or maybe a sinus infection? I also have a minor head/neck aches...... Thanks!

Hey i finally slep last night. I slept good to. I slept till about 8 and i went to bed at 12:15...  I still have that spot but it feels less hard. And doesnt hurt much now. I think it will pop by tomorrow but it hurts to much when i squeeze it. Ill try gargeling mouth wash, put some baking soda and water in a cup and make a paste then put it on. I think im over my fever because now im feeling pretty good!  My gums dont hurt much still so im pretty sure i dont have gingivitis. I was probably allergic to something of i got it from my cold about 2 weeks ago. If any one know why this happened please post. I really dont want it to come back...

I went to the doctor today. He said maybe gingivitis but my gums dont hut much and now instead of a line of soreness theres one big spot that drops down about 3-4mm's and hurts bad. i cant sleep )again) and im on menicillyn or what ever its called. I also have a small fever....ugh...
