Wisdom tooth removed and half tounge sensation gone

Hi, My sister removed her wisdom teeth last one and half month back. Her half tongue had lost sensation and when she does more talking then her tongue gets heavy. Her doctor said she mihgt will take 6 months to recover. I am really worried, Will it be recovered..? Is there anyone who has same problem and who recovered or not recovered  from this..?

Please share some information with me..I am really panic...

It was most likely the bottom one.  

As for the lost of sensation, it can be due to the trauma of the extraction on the nerve.  Does she also have numbness on the lip?  

It can be up to six months for the nerve to recover.  It should gradually improve with time.  I would recommend asking for another specialist's opinion on the matter if you're concerned with her progress.  It never hurts to have multiple opinions and evaluations on the matter.
