If you're not sure about the tooth, I would recommend going in earlier for a checkup on that tooth. I can't tell you how much damage, if any, there is. An x-ray may be able to find a fracture or some damage. Any symptoms such as pain, swelling, mobility (looseness of tooth), etc?
My next check up is due in6-8weeks. What signs of a problem should i look out for in the meantime? Is it more likely that the crown or the rootcanal will be damaged? The rootcanal is 13years old?
You can see if it will settle down. It may be just bruised. Unfortunately because it is root canal treated, you may not experience any pain on that tooth. When is your next checkup?
