I see the rubber tipped toothbrushes at every drug store i have been to. They are not expensive either. If you have an eckerd, rite aid, or cvs drug store near you, i know for a fact they have a variety of them. They are made by oral b, at least that is the brand i have. They work wonders.
Here is a link to one. Its not the one i have, but its similar.

Those numbers are not terrible. The pockets are maintainable. Two of the causes of perio problems are local factors, that is the bacteria in the plaque whichis produced every 24hrs. as I mentioned the other day.Home care is extremely important. I have seen patients that are not very diligent with their home care and have no signs of any perio disease--why? There definitely is a genetic factor involved. My suggestion is to be maticulous with your home care, see your dentist 2 or 3 times a year so that the situation can be monitored. Any of the major pharmacies should have rubber tipped toothbrushes or the rubber tips themselves.
