kids bad teeth

i have just been to dentist with my 3 and 1 year olds i new my 3 year old had a bad bit on her tooth ut when the dentist looked closer she see 2 bad teeth and one about to go bad she also noticed a bit on my 1 year olds tooth she said their teeth a very clean so brushing is not the problem we are vegaretian so the get very little sweets because most have animal produce in them i brush there teeth every morning and night the only thing is they are both breastfeed and get feed last thing at night so the milk is in their mouth all night the dentist gave the younger one floride drops but i not sure about them can anyone give me some advice they have been to the dentist every 6 months from they got their first tooth but today we seen a different dentist was let las one not as good thank everyone for you time any input would be great

yes we are vegaterian so they eat a lot of fruit they feed on and off all night i know that is what is causing the problem but i worried about the drops and its effect on their big teeth i any currently trying to get them to have their milk then brush their teeth and go to bed

It's important to floss their teeth as well as brushing them.  Can you brush their teeth after their last feeding at night?  Do they eat a lot of fruits?  Even if they don't eat sweets like candy...there is a lot of sugar in some fruits.
