my 10 y/o's teeth

My 10 y/o has two cavities even though she brushes her teeth regularly. The dentist took care of her tooth decay and gave her a flouride coating. Now she brushes her teeth 3 times a day and i was wondering how do i protect my daughter's teeth and stop her from getting more cavities?

You may want to have sealants placed on all of her permanent molars/premolars.  This is like a teflon coating that fills in the grooves of the teeth where she is more suseptible to getting decay.  Most ins. company pay 100% of this procedure up until the age of 12.  If not thay run about $30 per tooth.  It is definitly worth it. I am 31 years old and have had just 1 cavitiy.  I believe the selants helped me as a child!
