Hi, Tyler.
Have you considered heavy metal poisoning? Is there any way you may have been exposed to toxic fumes or dust?
Also - do you by any chance have amalgams (silver/mercury fillings)?

Hi,
I had tetanus and no, there doesn't have to be fever or even much swelling.
My jaw was uncomfortable, but it didn't totally lock.
Did you get an injury that could have had clostridia get into it? That's the bacteria that causes lockjaw.
I have a page on my tetanus:

I used a lot of vitamin C, and I think that made a huge difference, I think it's almost as effective as antibiotic. Not quite, but definitely powerful. (I was taking 12 of the 500mg ones three times a day.)
There is a study done in 1984 that shows that vitamin C has excellent life saving effects in tetanus. The link is on my page.
Pain can make anyone fatigued... but if the fatigue is not from the pain, maybe it's from low B12. I had low B12 for years before the doctors actually treated it, they just ignored my low B12 test results. While it was low, I had major headaches and a lot of dizziness, in fact I fell down several times.
B12 can be low from something called h.pylori which is a bacteria or something that grows on the stomach lining. After I had the last course of Metronidazol, I noticed several changes in how my body operates, leading me to believe that I had the h.pylori, and that the Medronidazol wiped it out.
I think the large amounts of C were wiping it out to some extent, but I always cut back on the C when I got diarrhea.
I would get methylcobalamin lozenges, 5mg ones, if I were you. and rest a lot. I mean really a lot for several days.
Wal*Mart in lots of areas carries the methylcobalamin lozenges.
Good luck to you :)

Tyler, The fact that you have discomfort when you open and close your jaw is something that should be investigated. TMJ problems have a wide range of symptoms. You should see someone who just specializes in this area.
