What I had might not be very similar. I had a white bump under my tongue, the little piece that connects my tongue to my mouth. (i dont know what it's called). I went to the dentist, and he told me to suck on lemons for half an hour, and that got it to go away. He did say it could've been something more serious, though. So i'd try the lemons, and if that doesn't help, see a dentist ! (:
might be an abcess thats beginning to develop if i were you id go see a dentist right away i went through the same thing the pain was just unbearable
You need to see an oral surgeon. I deal with this every day (RDH), it could be precancerous. It sounds like just a little fibrous tumor (fibroma), but if I am wrong, then it will become more expensive than it is already. Those fibrous tumors could easily turn to something worse tho, One of my patients had one on her lip and the biopsy did show it was precancerous and she had quit smoking 10 years prior (32 years old). If it lasts more than 2 weeks go see the doctor.
