wondering about reoccuring bump in mouth

I have this very small bump that will come up between my inner cheek and lower inner lip.  it probably is really more the lower inner lip region.  Anyway, it is a small bump that will come up every now and then.  sometimes days apart and sometimes weeks or months. You can barely see it when looking for it.  I can't burst it with my teeth but sometimes when I am sucking on my cheeks and lips it will burst and a salty taste will come out. and then it goes a way for a little while.  I once had a ear nose and throat doctor mention something about mucous membranes filling up because of cheek chewing, but that wasn't in regard to my bump.  I chew on my cheeks a lot.  i have very big scar tissue where I chew on each side.  Could that have something to do with it?  I often wonder about cancer and stds as well.  Could that be an option? It is about as big as this o. sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller.  it has a little off white tent to it, but a lot of my inner lip has the same tint it is just this part is raised.  any suggestion would be great! thanks for your help

I had a whole in my back tooth. The dentist that I went to, was a first time thing. he did some things to my motuh, that I nver authorized him to do, and is actually demanding I pay him for it. Anyhow, one of the things he did, was put a big filling over the tooth that I had a hole in, it was fine after a few moths, then i began having sever pain. I took all kind of pain killers, and everntually it went away, before I had the chance to get it pulled. Well, the tooth no longer bother me, and almost a year later, I have a huge knot under that tooth. I went to the dentist, because I was a bit scared, the dentist gave me medication, and told me I would eventually have to get this tooth pulled, or get a root canal. WEll my hard headed behind didn't do either, I now have a bump over top of the knot, it is filled with pus, and the more I bust it, the more it comes back. Has anyone ever had this problem, and if so, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS LUMP, and is it as severe as I think it is.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
More than likely it is a mucocoele which is benign. The small mucous ducts get clogged and the gland fills up with the fluid. It it is always safe to get it checked out by an oral surgeon. I do not think it is related to your cheek biting.
