43 pound weigh loss, inability to gain

Has anyone ever heard of anything so bizzare such as losing    43 pound weigh loss rapidly, ( inability to gain, although eating 10  or more times a day.  lots of  protein, veggies, fruit etc) losing muscle mass, and back rash from   DEPRESSSION OR  SEVERE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA?

Hi, did U check your theroid fuctions? it is a simple blood test (TSH - FT3 - FT4).

If not so do it and don't hesitate.

I had a back rash it was shigles which can be brought on by stress.... I also lost alot of weight but my appetite was horrid for a couple years... I have not gained back weight either don`t eat very much....

What does you doctor say .... maybe you should ask for a more detailed explanation.
